About Paddykake Bakes

I was born and raised in New Castle, attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school and graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1984.

I started cake decorating when I was 15 yrs old back in 1981 at Donut Haven Bakery in the New Castle Farmers Market.   I  decorated for 6 years before I put cake decorating on the back burner and started a full time job for a local liquor distributor here in New Castle which I’ve been at ever since.  About 2 years ago I started baking and decorating cakes for my family and friends, and I’ll never stop again.  Creating cakes is my passion.  I enjoy challenging myself with every new order that comes my way.  I still have alot to learn but I’m learning more with every new cake that I create.
